ITINERARY                                     

Our tour begins at 08:00 am at the designated meeting point for this tour. Then, we will head to the Parish of Pomasqui where CASA AGAVE is located. Here, we will learn about how agave synthesizes light to create an elixir that the indigenous people called chawarmishky (Kichua). It was identified as a sacred drink that was even said to be like ingesting life itself. Today we call it Miske, the first drink with a designation of origin in Ecuador. The Agave Experience tour lasts around 1 hour and 30 minutes and includes a visit to the botanical garden, museum, distillery, tasting of 6 products, a special tasting of our spirits, and concludes with a bar experience and cocktail tasting.

Then we will drive to the Middle of the World, an iconic site in Ecuador, as the country is named after the Equator Line, an imaginary line that divides the planet into the northern and southern hemispheres. Here, we will visit the Intiñan Site Museum, which offers an interactive tour, where you will learn about the history of our ancestral people and the magnificent effects produced by the sun in our solar cylinder. Travel to the past through the century-old huts, discover and understand the physical phenomena of the earth with our educational examples, observe the path of the sun (Intiñan) in the Acoratene, and of course, enjoy a natural and privileged environment.

Around 12:30 we will return to the hotel.
