Arrival in Quito
Welcome to Quito! It is the most visited city in Ecuador due to its cultural richness, being considered the "Reliquary of Art in America." It was also the first city declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city is surrounded by the Pichincha, Antisana, Cotopaxi, and Cayambe volcanoes, which form the Andean contour. A private vehicle will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can spend the day exploring Quito's old town and its surroundings. We can help organize a day tour (request in advance).
In the evening, one of our guides will meet you in the hotel lobby for a welcome briefing at 6:00 PM. We will discuss details and answer any questions you might have about the adventure. Our first day is for acclimatization and information.
Included: Accommodation at Hotel Mercure or similar in a double room.
Not included: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Quito - Cotopaxi - Limpiopungo Lagoon - Baños - Tree House (Casa del arbol)
Our journey starts in Quito, heading south to travel along the Panamericana, also called the Avenue of the Volcanoes. We will reach the majestic Cotopaxi Volcano, almost perfectly cone-shaped, unique on the planet, and along with the Chimborazo Volcano, it tops the list of Ecuador's must-visit tourist spots. Here, you can hike around the beautiful Limpiopungo Lagoon, rich in flora and fauna, with high chances of seeing condors, foxes, deer, rabbits, and various birds. After lunch at a local restaurant, we will continue to Baños de Agua Santa and visit the Tree House in the afternoon, known for its magnificent view of the Tungurahua Volcano.

Not included: Dinner.
Waterfall Route - Agoyan - Manto de la Novia - Tarabita (Cable Car) - Pailón del Diablo.
After breakfast, we will start the day driving along the Waterfall Route, a popular activity in Baños. Every year, thousands of tourists enjoy this spectacular route filled with stunning landscapes and waterfalls. The route is about 15 kilometers long, adorned by several waterfalls, including one of the most impressive and famous in the country: Pailon del Diablo. We will take a break for lunch at a local restaurant and have the afternoon free to explore this beautiful place.

Baños - Tena - Itamandi Lodge.
After breakfast, we will head to Tena, often called Ecuador's gateway to the Amazon. Around noon, we will start the journey to Itamandi Ecolodge, taking a motorized canoe upstream for 20 minutes from the Arajuno River bridge to reach Itamandi. Along the way, you will witness the magic and beauty of the Amazon rainforest. Upon arrival at the dock, our staff will welcome you and provide brief information about your accommodation and activities.
Lunch will be served at 1:30 PM, followed by tubing in the afternoon, weather permitting. After a delicious meal and settling in, we will prepare for our first activity in the Amazon rainforest: a night walk at 6:30 PM. Bring a flashlight and camera to capture the nocturnal sounds of fishing bats, owls, insects, tarantulas, toads, frogs, and possibly snakes. If the sky is clear, we might have the chance to see many stars.
Dinner at 7:30 PM.
