ITINERARY
Our tour begins at approximately 08:30 AM at the designated meeting point for this tour. Next, we will head to the Mitad del Mundo, an iconic site in Ecuador, as the country takes its name from the Equator Line, an imaginary line that divides the planet into the northern and southern hemispheres. Here, we will visit the Ciudad Mitad del Mundo tourist complex, a destination where the equator line crosses. It offers an iconic monument, museums, interactive scientific phenomena, and panoramic views, all set in a unique cultural and natural environment. Afterward, we will visit the Intiñan Museum, which offers an interactive tour. You will learn about the history of our ancestral peoples and the magnificent effects produced by the sun in our solar cylinder. Travel back in time through the century-old huts, discover and understand the physical phenomena of the Earth through our educational examples, observe the path of the sun (Intiñan) in the Acoratene, and of course, enjoy a privileged natural setting.
Afterwards, we will visit Pululahua, a magnificent volcanic crater known for its natural beauty and biodiversity. This unique place is one of the few inhabited craters in the world, offering a spectacular landscape of mountains and valleys.
Around 13:30 we will return to the hotel.
Approximate duration: 5 hours.
